So you want an Instant Messenger Program.  Well, just decide if you would rather have AOL Instant Messenger or ICQ.     If you would like, you could download both.

	I found that AOL Instant Messenger was much simpler to get signed up with and is easier to understand.
	If you plan on sending files with your IMs, then you should get ICQ.  It is the only program I have seen that will let you attach files to them.
